Welcome to Knowledge 2019. Thrilled to See You Here.

In AI, Future of IT, IT Service Management Blog, News, ServiceNow
Astound.ai is thrilled to be a part of Knowledge 2019. The Astound team is proud to be part of the ServiceNow ecosystem, and we’re eagerly looking forward to seeing the latest and greatest from ServiceNow and its other partners May 5-9 at The Venetian and the Sands Hotels in Las Vegas.

But what everyone at Astound is looking forward to most is seeing you. It’s you, the users of solutions from ServiceNow, Astound, and the other companies participating in Knowledge 2019 that are the heart of the conference. (If you need convincing, check out the Content Catalog, and the huge number of sessions that feature users.) You’re also why the Astound team does what we do to “transform the world of work.”

The Knowledge 2019 web site offers several “curated journeys,” or selected sets of conference sessions based on specific goals. Three of these really resonate with me, and with the Astound team.
  • Transform the IT experience
  • Deliver a next-generation employee experience
  • Delight customers by resolving complex issues end-to-end

We’re convinced AI-powered solutions are the key to doing all three. In fact, doing all three is precisely what Astound’s solutions do for companies using ServiceNow and other leading applications.

So you should come see us here at Knowledge 2019. And you should see a demo of our solutions. If you’re one of the first 100 people to do so, we’ll thank you with a pair of AirPods. They’ll enhance your listening experiences, just as our solutions enhance user, customer, employee, and support provider experiences. We’ll also show you the latest reasons why respected analysts Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) named Astound “one to watch.”

Click here to provide your contact info and schedule your demo. We’re convinced you’ll like what you see – and hear. We look forward to seeing you. Meanwhile…

Dortch’s Digressions: Things to Watch and Plan For at Knowledge 2019

Every Knowledge conference is a full plate, to be sure. Here are some specific recommendations you might find helpful as you complete deciding how best to spend your time at Knowledge 2019.
  • On Tuesday, May 7, you want to make sure to attend the Digital Workflows Keynote, the Customer Workflows Keynote, and the Security & Risk Spotlight. Three Keynotes may seem like a lot for one day, but they’ll provide concentrated summaries of how ServiceNow and some of its leading customers are addressing these critical areas.
  • Sign up ASAP for Fred Luddy’s Fireside Chat with CEO John Donahoe, which takes place at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. This session, featuring the straight-talking, never-boring Founder and Chairman of the Board of ServiceNow, is always worth seeing and hearing as up close and personal as possible.
  • And because you can’t and shouldn’t work all the time, even at Knowledge 2019, if you haven’t done so already, choose your “Vegas Experience” for Thursday night. Especially if you want to attend either of the Cirque du Soleil performances, either of which I heartily recommend. (And if you snag tickets to an early performance, you can head to the House of Blues or Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub afterwards.)

Michael Dortch has been writing, speaking, and thinking about IT for four decades. He is a former Senior Product Marketing Manager at ServiceNow, and was bequeathed the honorific “Reverend Now” after speaking and moderating several popular sessions at past Knowledge conferences. You can learn more about Michael on LinkedIn, and read more of his digressions on Facebook.
